She thought she wasn't needed,
Everyday she wanted to die,
But thinking someone will come care about her

Every person she found,
Ended up beating her,
Not coming how fragile she is,
They drove her even closer to the edge

I tried to help by being a friend,
But she wanted more from me,
She wanted a relationship,
I was shocked

My heart said she needed someone,
But my mind wasn't ready to open to a new one,
She was sweet and caring,
But I diidn't know how to take it

I didn't say no,
Nor did I say yes,
I told her we should get to know each other,
But I knew I was waiting for someone else [comments] => 1 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 32 [informant] => ClanJadeFalcon [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
