Midnight ocean.

Contributed by heartfilledblood on Wednesday, 4th August 2004 @ 02:00:06 PM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

Waves crashing as if to be war heros clashing
The soft cool breeze against my face its doing its midnight dancing
It seems to play with the palm trees swaying as the seem to be glancing
Glancing at everything I see
So peacful its just everything to be

When midnight comes everything comes to life
Like toy story without those silly catch lines
The trees and sand abiding to natures request
The ocean and the midnight sky seeming never to rest
The stars twinkle ever so bright
As the moon lights up the scene oh such a site

The sand so soft and oh so warm
The rough yet gentle water rushing up against my skin
As I go for another midnight swim
I feel at peace with no one around
The silence and beauty that I lay in all that surround

The water
The sand
The trees in the background
Its all part of a beautiful nature
All for us to take care and nuture like a baby for our future

It's amazing, the moments in our lives that we truly feel fulfilled, are so simple. I think it's because our eyes are finally open to what is, that is strikes us as amazing. Usually our eyes are shut, and we cannot see what life truly is. I believe that everyone has experienced eye opening, mind expanding moments, where we see beauty in simplicity. You have shared a perfect example of that, with this poem of a midnight swim in the ocean. Thank you.

Be True,
zenmind
