Why Oh Why
Do we hunt ourselves?
Like deer in the winter
Over blocks none of us truly own
Claiming colors Red or Blue
When our mothers’ tears are clear right through
Her hurt like storm clouds
With thunderous cries that echo from city to city
I truly don't know what worst
What happened in "Mississippi Burning”?
Or what were doing to ourselves
If you have a heart that pumps blood My Brothers
You have a Soul My Brothers
As sure as there is Breathe in your lungs My Brothers
You can make a change My Brothers
