Enchanting lies

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Thy bones so brittle yet intriguing
Your wicked smile across your lips
The way you touch every inch of my body
And touch me with your fingertips

Your gothic smile brings upon memoryies
as blood driped from my eyes
The mask of illusion takes its role
As i scream my many cries

I am a doll stapled together
waiting for its owner to give her love
suffocating in a world of sin
praying to her god ubove

I am the pitbull with jagged teeth
the ones that rip you to shreds
Please dont get to close to me
Or i will be on more meds

I am the child drowning in a lake
and the figurine pinned to the wall
needles and pins stapled into my spine
Waiting for the footsteps in the hall

I am the ghost awaiting your ariaval
The fearful baby needing a hug
But when you see what is inside of me
Youll see im just like a battered old rug

I am the angel with the torn wings
Here i am tugging at my skin
Satan is laughing because he thinks
that i will not win.

The imagery just jumps out at me. This was well written!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
