No one to trust
She sat by herself
Her body began to rust

She got real depressed
She got really scared
Then she decided
To do what she dared

She got her moms knife
She took her dads pills
Just to make it nice
She dressed up in frills

She walked down the road
And down by the creek
Popped the pills, slit her wrists
And laid down all meek

The wind spun her hair
The moon shown on her
But all of a sudden
There was a stir

And owl made a hoot
A branch fell to the ground
And then she was gone
Relationships not bound

Down by the creek
Where the little fox lays
The girl vanished quickly
Leaving no trace of her ways

She is gone now
Notice, they don’t
The trees will not scream it
And find out, you wont

Tomorrow her dad will wake
As the sun shines at dawn
Tell her to get up
But then she was gone [comments] => 5 [counter] => 160 [topic] => 32 [informant] => anonymussme [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
