Everyone always smiles
Life seems so perfect and neat
With everyones PORCELAIN face

Everyone lives behind their PORCELAIN faces
Lives behind their mask
Lives behind their make-up
Lives behind staind glass

But some live with a broken mask
And others with no PORCELAIN face
Those are the ones they want to hide
Because the truth is shown upon their face

And for some , things may be -ok-
But for others it's just not so
So look at your PORCELAIN face
And see how much it shows. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 183 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Alina [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

nice write, i liked your message alot, i think there are too many people going trough life and interchanging their masks as they see fit for the people and situation, changing the side they show people minute to minute.....

Yes, it's a shame that some would want to hide behind masks - there's probably a good reason for it.
Well written

Jordan

PS. at one point I started a poem along the same lines, yet did not go beyond the first verse:

This hide and seek game which you play
removes not what's apparent:
invisible though you think you are,
to me you are transparent.
