These stairs have so much history
All scuffed up and dirty
A place where kids would hang out and play hookey
But then something happened
Everyone felt frightened
It's not impossible to get nightmares
Just from walking on these stairs

Shadows crawl behind you
It almost seems as if it's true
The scary stories that they've told you
There are no misconceptions
These stairs hold so many unwanted emotions

It was such a gloomy day
Revenge unravelled through this very walkway
A cold blooded murder
Vanished without a trace
And it all happened
On this lonely staircase

This poem is awesome. Those stairs do look like they have something haunting them. I like this a lot, nice work!
