‘Follow me’ it echoes,
all through the dusk
and all through the night,
‘Follow me to the calm,
come with me over the

Too long I have pretended
that I didn’t hear it…
too long I have been afraid

But now it’s time to listen
to what I have only heard before,
to believe in what I have found.
I’ll let my faith lead me home
through the valley, and over the
edge of the storm.

Beautiful! Your poetry has a way of warming my heart. This is what it's all about. Taking the plunge into a new life. Letting ourselves be caught up in a story much mightier than our own. Such is being a Warrior of the Light.
Blessings
Andrew

This one I like too.

Too long I have pretended
that I didn’t hear it…
too long I have been afraid
of an unknown tomorrow.
But now it’s time to listen
to what I have only heard before,

It's so wonderful to think of other people spreading their wings and following new paths. That's what life is all about.

Good write

Some tiptoe as others leap. Some hear whispers while others hear shouting. It is so incredibly moving and quite extraordinary when a person comes to understand the voice they hear (loud or soft) and begins to listen to it (moving slowing or not so slowly in some new direction).

This is a wonderful piece... stuffed full of timidness and passion at the same time. I find it remarkable that you've captured it so eloqently... so... perfectly. Very well done!

Tiptoeing along to my own inner voice,
SNM
