[bodytext] => Late at night, the refridgerator hums while the television sings...
It emits a heavenly light, as it burns thru my eyes, right to my brain...
Inscribing a sight of nothing but informercials removing stains...
(If only it could clean my concious the same)

Early in the morning, staring out the bedroom window....
Lightning flashes in the distance far, but the storm is near, I know...
TV no longer sings to me, and fridge does not make a sound....

Burning red light, flickers and dies,
And it's obvious the power went out...
(If only I could fall asleep the same)

Sitting still in my chair, still watching the storm outside...
Thunderbolts scorching my retinas, generating the only light...
(Funny how everything burns my mind and leaves a mark)
Silhouettes sit in corners, black and out of sight...

But with every flash outdoors, I see more clearly my world inside,
As the shadows come to life...

(I will never see that room the same)

Well, it is about time you came back to the land of the living (here of course). I did miss you. I don't think that people realize how much nature controls us. I have learned so much in my life from watching nature and the natural instincts of the animals and plants and winds and tides. You will have a different outlook. Search outside yourself to find life. We are but a single small grain of sand.

Hugs,
Rita
