For my friendship will always be there
And my friendship I guarantee.

Have I told you lately
How glad I am that we met?
That I could never forget you
And you can’t forget me I bet!

Have I told you lately
How much you mean to me?
And if you weren’t’ in my life
I don’t know how my life would be?

Have I told you lately
What a good friend you are?
Someone must have been looking over me
When I wished for you on that bright star.

Have I told you lately
That you can use my shoulder to cry on?
For I will be your rock
If you need something to build upon.

Have I told you lately
That I will always be there
And if I forget sometimes
Please don’t think that I don’t care.
