I'm REALLY hyper today and I got crazy and thought of this in a forum.** And also, my boyfriend's brother really DOES play the concertina. It's like an accordian only not** [bodytext] => There once was this gal, “Philomena”
My boyfriend’s brother plays concertina
It’s played in a polka
My boyfriend’s a “joka”
Sometimes Phil laughs like a hyena

You know that one girl, “Philomena”?
She’d look GREAT in a cortina
That’s a type of veil
That’s prob’ly on sale
‘N if she wore a tutu she’d look like a ballerina

I wonder if that Philomena
Has ever been to Herzegovina
That’s a far off place
But not outer space
And I don’t think it’s near Argentina

And “Hey-howdy-ho! Philomena!”
Have you ever seen pink sand verbena?
It’s a desert herb
It’s really superb
And it grows near the strait of Messina

I betcha that sweet Philomena
Likes getting sent iris florentina--(s)
That’s another flower
You know who’s got power?
A Greek goddess called Proserpina!!!

If one day the fair Philomena
Were to visit far-off N’djamena
(A city in Chad)
Where she acted bad
She’d probably get a subpoena

Ya know, I think that Philomena
Should try to collect blue galena
A good source for lead
But eat it and you’re dead
So you should maybe eat some farina

Bear with me, bepuzzled Philomena,
This poem could have been a bit cleana
But it’s crazy now
And I don’t know how
To end this poem so… I’ll see ya!!!

FABULOUS!!!!! Oh! This is an absolute delight!!!!!!! How perfectly fun and light and creative and silly!!!!! And Phil.... the absolute perfect recipient for something like this! Oh dear! I think you've inspired me to add my own little poemy for that crazy girl!

This poem is so neat
And Phil's such a treat
Delightful and sweet
She doesn't miss a beat

So I jump to my feet
Knowing we'll meet
When I arrive to greet
Fabulous Phil on a NYC street!

lol! Hugs and love to you both!

Chels, while Phil is still laughing her head off, I would like to tell you this is adorably unique, bright and very funny. What I would not give to have your writing ability. Girl, you are just plain old talented.

Hugs and laughter,
Rita

*wipes tears of laughter from eyes*

What a rhymester you are! This was perfect! I think we'll put it in Phil's biography one of these days!

This was fine, my friend. You've a great gift for rhyme.

Andrew
