Who are they to assume something about your way of life when they are not even a part of it? It's a waist of time, get over it and move on..... [bodytext] => 'Are you two together?'
Her words dripped with sincerity.
Laughter escaped my mouth,
but anger bubbled inside of me.

Her eyes shifted from
my best friend over to me.
Of being a lesbian,
she was accusing me.

I looked over my position,
how my arm was wrapped around a girl.
I smiled to her and thought,
'She the best friend in the world.'

And the girl asked again,
Truly wanting to know.
She wasn't criticizing,
the love that we had shown.

I thought it over,
I love my best friend dearly.
It's just the kind of person I am,
and I stated clearly...

"If expressing to my friend
how much I love her so,
and showing her affection
to watch our bond grow,
means that we are together,
then yes, we're best friends forever!" [comments] => 4 [counter] => 223 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Crys [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

You have no idea how perfectly this states how me an my Group of friends are together. But mostly me and my best friend jess who are EXTREMELY affectionate anywhere, and yeah we have been critisized, but you know, what people want to know, and what really IS is a totally different thing. But i Really like this one. GrEaT job.

It's funny how people think me and my best friend Chris are together,,,yes we are a boy and a girl...but still the world thinks its weird for people to be loving without 'being together'.
