Near the oceans edge
Water caresses shore like a perfect embrace
Evening stops and stares at this perfect scene

Two lovers dance amidst the softly swaying reeds
A gentle flowing breeze
Born of the mountains above
Carries their voices through out the air

Sweet nothings and declarations of love
Pass beyond their lips
A living tapestry
Their dance is

Flowing and weaving
Soul mates in touch
The essence of art and beauty
Risen alive

Near the oceans edge
Through tides high and low
Dance do they still
Never tire of gazing into each others eyes

Dance they will
Till the two rivers run dry [comments] => 2 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Tarukar [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Quite well-written.
Though I wish it would have ended differently.

Aww Will, this is really good. It fits together as nicely as the two lovers' hearts.
I'm sure whoever the recipient of this poem ends up being that she will be delighted.

Lots of love and peace be with you,

Chelsea

P.S. You've written one about rain and pink roses... I remember reading it once...it's so beautiful... are you going to post it? I do believe it would be my favorite.
