Can I have you- forever- happily ever after
Will you let me drown your pain with laughter

Will you give me your heart, to tenderly mold

OOooooo..yeah. Sometimes men have such a silly wall up around them, that they don't know/trust what's right in front of them! Your proposition is most honorable, and I hope the subject of your poem gives you the same commitment in return! If so, he be a rare man indeed and worthy of that love!
