My longing draws me down
I ignore the fear
Of the darkside
I can’t seem to hear
Them tell me to seek the sunshine
But this darkside is fine
It’s power pulls me stonger
I cannot stand it any longer
I must end by going down

definatley an effective short write. and i think that maybe your teacher who gave the assignment needs to give a few more.
