Sacred Garden

‘Sacred Garden’

Punctured veins, and pounding heart.
I live to suffer, another day.
Enduring life, through altered blood.
Enduring, in my own way.

Deep inside, I can see no loss,
and my mind, cannot resist.
For it is only then, when I drift away.
That I feel, I cease to exist.

A virtual death, within a needle.
Just a prick, to set the pace.
I conceive that I need it!
Inject it! Receive it! Then disgrace turns to grace.

As I sink within, this sacred garden.
My head clears, and connects with time.
Yes! Relief I find, inside this haven.
Where life melts away, and buries me.

Cage

The honesty..the reasons so sincerely spoken. Addictions are such a tough thing to overcome for its not just the addiction you have to overcome but the reasons it brought you there in the first place. You are just such an incredibly talented writer and no wonder..you have a wealth of experience to draw upon..
