A lonely soul,
Her hunger for knowledge,
A huge hole.
She did not outstand in the crowd,
She had talent, but wasn't proud,
She wished to disappear,
She wished to fly,
She wished to lift into the sky,
She needed to be free,
To be gone.
She was like a puppet on a string
She was like a lyric in a song.
Each word she thought,
Each picture in her mind,
Should disappear for no one to find.
She wished so hard,
She wished so long,
She wanted to cut the strings and be gone.
Maybe she wished too hard,
Or wished too long.
But the bumper on her forehead,
The wheel over her hand,
And then she was gone. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 173 [topic] => 32 [informant] => LoserLottie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
