Into a sunrise,
A red-orange glow
When moonlight dies.
Above the trees
In the morning skies,
Now darkness whispers
Its daily good-byes.

Sunlight hits
The moist ground,
The air is suddenly
Filled with sound.
The birds wake us,
Their songs resound
And it seems
I’m almost spellbound.

Wouldn’t it be nice
If each and every day
Would start itself out
In this same way?
For lately it seems
Darkness will stay
And daylight hides
Until it goes away. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 477 [topic] => 48 [informant] => hooray_its_jen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I think this is one of your best pieces so far that I have read, Jenna. I know life has been rough for you lately, but the sun will shine brighter again. "Rememer the old say, it is always darkest before the dawn." Hugs to you.
