sleeping deep like in a mothers womb
awakening to the noise "who...who"
my head is throbbing and my heart trembling
pieces of my mind i am assembling

like a jigsaw puzzle that fell to the floor
and the glimmers of light shining in through the door
im out in the forest and no one is there
i here a noise and look up into the air

i see a two spheres glowing the brightest green
it is an owl up in the old oak tree
gazing upon me in my current condition
gazing and waiting to feed his blood addiction

who...
who...

where am i going where have i been?
stumbling through the darkness where do i live?
the flapping wings of the night
stumbling through the woods trying to regain my sight

who...
who...

the questions the owl is asking, directed at me
or to a mate of which i do not see
the maze of bushes and blood in my eyes
to find a corner to which i can hide

who...
who...

again the owl follows
content on my sorrow
screaming in vain
bleeding with pain

who...
who...

those green eyes of night
a shivering sight
the horror i cry
a question i cant deny

who...
who...
who am i? [comments] => 8 [counter] => 181 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Vermillion [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
