Swirls in your head all day long,
You feel strangely drawn to this voice,
You lose control, you don’t have the choice.

The need to find her is overwhelming,
Inside your desires the Siren is delving,
Calling you to come & join her,
Let go of your inhibitions & your fear.

You’re in two minds over what to do?
Inside you your wanting gently brews,
It is getting harder &harder to resist,
As a Siren’s song is one that’ll persist.

She will not stop until she succeeds,
Upon your weakness she will feed,
Deep down below your fidelity,
Is a need for a Sirens tranquillity.

As you walk toward the sound,
Your feet don’t seem to touch the ground,
She now has you well in her grasp,
This is a feeling that forever will last.

This is really good, pixie. I wrote a poem based on the same theme (but in a dreamscape) and I must say there's some themes you use here that I have used too. I like the fact that writing about a siren can evoke the same kind of ideas, and inspiration.

I like siren poems, and yours is no exception. Well done, and well-rhymed.

Thanks for sharing.

Another very good write and it seems you are getting into my head again as your title is also a song that brings the feelings you have portrayed in this poem how do you do that Pixie? lol
Thank you again for your wonderful words.

Many men have become totally lost in that song. The siren's grasp can only be overcome by the very strong willed men. Men, heed this warning. Great write here.

Your poem was very well written, the timing perfect.....I enjoyed it thoroughly, but be aware....those sirens you hear may be near, but they denote danger!!!
Loved it
