Jagged blade tearing skin
Torn up soul deep inside
In my writings, my place to hide

Far away, inside my mind
Looking for this feeling I need to find
Translucent flesh blanketed with scars
Deeper inside, yet seeming so far

Shallow at first, deeper the last
Shadows on the walls the candles cast
Thoughtful attempts taking their toll
Covers, lining the inside of my soul

Hiding away from myself and you
Deep in the darkness you hide too
Paranoid, of what might take place
Living this life, running this race

Closing my eyes to end the day
Resting my head to assure I stay
Hearing you and who you blame
To you life is nothing but a game

You have an eye for picturesque language.
I look forward to reading future work.

that was nice. I liked it. It reminds me of my outlook on isolation. My outlook on isolation is different though. I liked the parts that said: "far away inside my mind. looking for this feeling i need to find." ;-)
paranoid of what might take place. living this life running this race."

yeah, i definitely feel you on that!

keep writing! write me if ya like! ha! lemme stop! ;-) peace & love 2 u.

I really enjoyed your poem the first time I read it. Then I found myself returning again and again and every time I read it I see a new meaning. I wanted to tell you what my favorate line was but each time I read it I have a new favorate. I suppose I'll just say I love it all. That just about sums it up
