[title] => The Peaceful Protest
[time] => 2004-07-23 15:05:41
[hometext] => Out of all the powerful poetry I have written, read, and admired, I've also read poetry filled with threatening violence. Why? I do not know. Will that change people's will to express themselves through writting? I think not!
[bodytext] => As I hold up my sign, I walk peacefully, quietly, but willingly, for my rights. Someone threatens me, Yet, I walk peacefully, quietly, but unfearfully, for my rights. There's a gun pointed at me. But, I don't run. I can't run. It's too late. I have been shot, in the head. And, although I lay dead, the sign is still in my hand, peacefully, quietly, but willingly, to protest my rights.
