Why are we ashamed?
Discriminations awful,
I hope it’s all a game.

Why does it matter?
If we are black or white,
What matters is the inside,
Whether it’s day or night.

Why are we judged?
Like a cover of a book,
Why are some guilty,
When they’re not a crook.

Why do some have food?
While others have none,
The worlds not fair,
But what could be done.

Some are not grateful,
For the things they’ve got,
Others have nothing,
Or not a lot.

Why are some without shelter?
And others without food,
When we’re out spending money,
Or being jealous or rude.

Why is there war?
And why is it unknown?
People die every day,
While others sit at home.

What are people thinking?
When they cause trouble and despair,
Why do they do it?
Do they even care?

I wonder if they know,
What pain it will cause,
Do they think about it?
Why don’t they pause?

Why does this happen?
Why isn’t it stopped,
All the problems in the world,
Why? Why? Why? Why?

Excellent poem, much to think about, and ask ...why.

Thank you for sharing.

I think this poem is really good.
You've portrayed your message to us all very clearly..
The flow and rhythm are quite impressive too...
Unfortunately, I do not know the answers to those questions either...
but Great Poem!

I hope you stay a long time here and really enjoy your time with us!
Keep writing!
