Array ( [sid] => 57101 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Invisible Human [time] => 2004-07-21 23:35:37 [hometext] => Wrote a year ago, it hurts to remember how cruel some people can be [bodytext] => I see myself
This disgusting blob
Bone structure thats hidden
The only thing holding up this gelatinous
Overgrown structure that once was a human
Ignored by other so called humans
That fit the norm of society
Perfect size 6's I stare at with envy
The doctor says I'm going to die
The weight is killing my heart
Death knocks at my doorway constantly
Heart attack, stroke, blood clots
Which way will it be today I wonder?
My kids stand in the doorway
Ashamed at the site of me
Don't come to my school mom let daddy go
They tease me mom your fat
Ever hear of Jenny Craig mom?
It might help you know
Just let it go in one ear and out the other
Kid's brutal honesty
I'm jealous of the way they can express themselves
So easily
So I wait for the date
Wish I were smaller
Want to live for my kids
See them grow up
Unashamed of me
Their mother
The fat lady that everyone sees
But chooses not to really see [comments] => 3 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 48 [informant] => RavenShadows [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 13 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

That was deep. the last two lines are really good. It takes a lot of courage to come out with such honesty in your art like that. This is good stuff.

The pain expressed through your words reveal tremendous heartbreak which can only leave heartbroken the reader himself.I'm so sorry you had to go through this, and I'm even more sorry that you suffered so much,it really is incredible how cruel people can be and I can only imagine the hurt caused when it comes from your own family.Your 2 last verses reveal everything.Great write and God bless,
PumpkinPie
