Array ( [sid] => 56847 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => She can write anything [time] => 2004-07-19 21:43:24 [hometext] => This poem is about how everything longs to be something else. Even love. Because, of you look at love as a person, then I'm sure love doesn't want to hurt as much as it does. But with love anything is possible. She really can write anything [bodytext] => Can the cherries that line your lips
Really taste as sweet as this?
Illusions always feel nice for a litte while
But leave a bad taste in your mouth
And the snow wants to be the rain so it can fall a
little faster
If you don't believe me just ask her
The snow, she is always sincere when her
complexion is completely clear
And would you like to know what's behind these
blue doors?
Then get on all fours love and show me what you
can do love, love, love and the answer could be
yours babe
But who knows...the truth may fade
And does that chain hold the key to your moods?
Because if they do change then maybe I can
rearrange them to fit my liking while love is out
writing
Can she write anything?
She knows nothing of anything except broken
hearts, lies and maybe a few easy ways to make you
cry
And I won't lie like she does
Broken hearts can cause you to die
And the amber in the eye of the storm flies down
down down
Around
Around
Around me
Can it consume this
In just one thunderous kiss?
And to this kind of poison the Oleander bows down
Down
Down
Way down
And kisses the ground
The amber eye touches
Instead of keeping this
I'll just bury it beneath the pile of gold dust
I've already attained
For which I'm openly ashamed
Bury it under me
So when I come to the edge of this grave
I can hear those bells play
Gloria
At the top of their lungs
Instead of keeping this
I'll blow it one goodbye kiss
As I sing, sing, sing
She really can write anything

I really liked this poem.
Very interesting concept... about how everything wants to be something else.
I dont' think everyone would be able to put thoghts like that so lucidly and express them as well as you have.
