Mistake

Contributed by clowns_can_burn on Monday, 19th July 2004 @ 01:31:11 AM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

Waking up to see the plain white room
I'm so lost, but then I remember where I am
wishing and hoping to leave here soon

As I lay there, I just think "it was only one mistake"
I tell myself everyday
But really its all just fake

So I did make One mistake, but then it led to others
How can I say sorry to something that felt so good?
You feel that I should

No matter how long I am here
I will not lie about my mistakes feeling good
I have nothing to fear

Woah, you have described all that is attractive about addiction here. They always feel soooooo good. Too bad in the end they destroy you. Having been there and back more than once. I can say that. Ouch. This is full of emotion and truth.
