We have an interesting friendship that’s for sure.
Why is it me that you adore?
We have shared many a secret and feelings
Helping me with a little bit of healing.
Baby you mean a great deal to me.
Yet you just don’t seem to see.
I can always count on you to be there.
You wont ever not be here.
As long as you need me I’m yours.
To help you deal with your wounds and sores.
I’ll make you laugh and smile,
Even if it means walking more than a mile.
Your friends consider me out of your league,
But please, I have NO league.
I’m not that shallow and Darling it’s about time they noticed.
But, god damn, I was the one you noticed

Darn good poem. There is no such thing as 'leagues'. The only time it will be like that is if they have no interest in that person.
Excellent write though. I enjoyed it.

welp, i know how it is to like a close friend, or a friend of some sort.... liking my friend worked WELL! we are going out now and we couldn't be happier. Before anything happened (asking out) we promised we would keep our friendship no matter what happened to us as a couple.

I know this one too. Sucks that people are like that doesn't it?
