says it is
a quarter past three
as we walk hand in hand
along side of lake eola park
I feel your eyes looking
down on me from above

we stop at the ice cream stand
to get us a cone
he just couldn't know
I feel so alone
your life ended abruptly
so tragic and sad
taken away by your own hand

I wonder what robbed you
of the dreams that we had
I would have stood by you
through the good and the bad
now all I have are the
memories of you and me
and a measure of guilt for
not trying to help you see
the need I had to be free

I am very sorry for your loss.
Also, please do not blame yourself.
Such a sad poem, but beautifully written.
There is alot of sorrow here.
Great write,
Phil

I once had a classmate who had this experience- a really sweet kid who was liked by everyone. We were like pals, even though he was a year younger, and I remember how shocked and hurt I was when I found out.
It happened after I finished high school, but when I look in my yearbook, it all comes back.
