No,
WHAT am I?
Am I someone for them
To put in a glass box
And let the children
Point their fingers at me
And whisper?
I can't carry the weight
Of their pitying stares,
I just can't.
I can't handle this on my own,
And their fake sympathy
Is only making it worse.
To them
I am just some kind of animal
To put in a cage
Or some kind of object
To put in a museum
So they can all stare at me.
They say they care,
But if they really cared
They would leave me alone,
They would leave my family alone too
And stop acting like they're concerned.
I don't need them,
All I need is my dad back. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 554 [topic] => 6 [informant] => hooray_its_jen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

There are alot of times where people get involved in situations that they know nothing about how hard it is to deal with. I hope they do give you the space you need.
