[hometext] => hard to explain without getting inside my brain and showing you all my picture-memories, but this poem attempts it.
[bodytext] => Blue sofa Begging to be stained with love again It gapes, Big and comfy Like I'll never escape its cycle. It keep dragging me back in. Sinking into pillows Some creamy, some heart-shaped. Back through time, through t-shirts and duvets. Old albums, played over again Subconsciously with the same expressions. Reminds me of all the times that were 'the best'. Makes me cry to think I'm saying it all again. 'Once more, with feeling'...but conviction won't cum. I miss you, I miss all of you. Sometimes, I open that bit of my mind and I want to let you flood back. Reunite. Same position. Same loving eyes. Same knowing. I wish it could be. But such thoughts are impractical and lacking in self-respect. So instead you will be replaced, and replaced again Drowned out by a thousand other musics, a million other cries of delight. 'Til you hurt me less and I can talk again. Then maybe you'll see our sofa once more.
