Get back to bed
Is what my mum said
Well, more a yell
As she never could find
A way proper way to tell,
To talk, to understand
To listen
Why we were going to miss him
All for us she insisted
The reason for our leaving
Whose story to believe in
Hers or His
She gave me life
He gave me bruises
Such a hard choice
It was just normal to me
But why were they not treated
As I was
I pondered
But it was left unconcluded
Another mystery
I shall never know
As my brother, left untold
Another story to unfold [comments] => 5 [counter] => 155 [topic] => 44 [informant] => gherkin [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Nostalgic )

First off - Welcome to YPDC! Sorry that it took me a couple days to stumble across your work - but I'm very glad I did now. This is a powerful piece..... yet stated with a kind of quiet grace. I liked it very much (though I am left feeling blue for the subject matter).

I eager to have a look at some of your other work. Please stay away and keep writing!
