Array ( [sid] => 5626 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Dedicated To Betty [time] => 2002-10-25 22:30:00 [hometext] => On the death of my elder sister whom I didn't even know existed until 3 years ago. She was born out of wedlock and my mother was forced to give her away. A Catholic thing.
Just wish I could have known her. [bodytext] => An angel left this world today
And winged her way back home,
I'm told it's all Thy Will Be Done
But somehow I don't know.

Surely exceptions can be made
For someone such as she,
You say it's all The Masters Plan
But what of family?.

What of the plans they dreamed and shared
For all the coming years,
Are their dreams less important
I don't think so, count the tears.

Talk to her loving husband
Ask the children how they feel,
See the looks of desolation
At this loss that is so real.

Yes an angel left this world today
And winged her way back home,
I'm told it's all Thy Will Be Done
But still I just don't know.

G'day Christina,
I feel and see your pain.
I am still having trouble coming to terms with my loss.
I spent last xmas with her and 6 months later she was gone.
Sometimes I wish I could be devoid of feelings.
My thoughts are with you.
Warmest Regards.

Fwog, I'm sorry for your loss...It must be very painful for you...having found her only to lose her so soon. BUT you have to hold on to the little memories you have of her..and keep her alive in your heart.....
Hugs..
Jenni

In death, dead souls rest, and the living mourn and die in pain. You just have to deal with life's enemy ...great poem.

Dearest Dallas,
I am so sorry for your loss, big huggs, try to remember that a candle that shines twice as bright burns half as long... somehow that one has always helped me..
Your friend always Nessa
