Let the seconds tick off your life, and replace them with a smile.

Sit and talk of time gone past and days of yesteryear.

When life was fun, people honest, and morals so very clear.

A time when the rumble of your fathers voice would send chills up your spine,

and knowing when you done wrong he would swiftly put u back in line.

A time when your mothers hands would rock you to sleep,

and bedtime stories linger in your mind for years to keep.

When briars and honey bees were the only worries you had on a barefoot summer day,

and when the soft flow of a summer rain gave the occasional mud puddle for you to play.

A time when supper meant to wash up and the family sat together to eat a home cooked meal.

Or maybe afterwards a cup of berries, half gallon of milk, and a little sugar churned into something real.

Sit on back and remember when a dime would buy a coke and moon pie.

When candy was only pennies that brightened up every childs eyes.

When Christmas came and memories were all there on the family tree.

Special gifts and ornaments from friends and family.

We must all remember that memories are priceless and we only acquire them thru time, so lets not wish our life away....will be nice to look back someday, on memories of yours and mine.
