You feel I should be ignored,
What if I can’t please you anymore,
Would you ever walk out the door?

Someone better comes along?
Would you ever do me wrong,
What if I make you mad,
Will you leave me & feel glad.

I lose my good looks,
Will you try & wriggle off my hook,
And seek out someone better,
Will I even find a dear John letter?

You realise I’m no good,
That you’ve been with a dud,
Feel the need to finally get rid,
And a wholesome goodbye you bid.

You lose your love for me,
Spread your wings & fly free,
Refuse to pick up the phone.
Leave me here all alone

This is a form of wonder that we all go through. Find in yourself all the beauty you hold and share it with Mark. Let him see the beauty and he'll come around. (not physical beauty) Inner! He'll see it! Good luck Krissee..
angel always...godspeed...joni

I think all that have ever loved someone have had these fears before. This is a good write.

Love doesn't just sit there, like a stone. It has to be made like bread, remade all the time, made new.

I love the way it has a hard edge to it right until the last line. judging from your poetry, it sounds as if you have nothing to worry about when it comes to Mark :) Hope it all works out

You're extremely victorious in expressing your insecurities.
I know how that goes, but I don't think I could say it like you can.
Lots of love and peace be with you,

Chelsea
