late night talks about nothing at all,
that shoulder to cry on if you need it,
always picking you up when you fall,
and remembering things that you forget,

a helping hand who really cares,
understanding and trusting you,
a person whos always there,
to help you get through,

sometimes when the words just cant come out,
they seem to know how you feel,
they read your mind to figure it out,
thats when you know their friendships real

so you might think you have a hundred friends,
but really theres only just one,
that will be true to you,till the very end,
who loves more than a ton!

You might meet 100 people in your time,
but theres only one you can call a true friend,
a friendship ages like fine wine,

This is so true I also have a friend like that we have been friends for 48 years
