My heart is broken again
and I know that I just can't win
The things you said hurt me so much
It hurts even to the touch
I never heard something that cruel come from a human being
Not even towards the needy
The scars run way to deep to heal
And it's all so real
My feelings fall silent like the rain
Because of all this pain
I know that you meant what you said to
That's why I can never forgive you
The heart break that followed with those words
Were nothing of this world
The scars around me
Are there even though you can't see them
I know that because I'm the one that made them
But the scars that run deep inside
Were your doing
Not mine! [comments] => 4 [counter] => 144 [topic] => 32 [informant] => WestCPunk [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 18 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

I know the feeling all too well. I am sorry for the newly laid scars on your being...well written poem, the fact that it rhymes makes it even better.

I can relate to how you feel and that is why I forgive because when I make mistakes like that (putting my foot in my mouth) I hope that person who I hurt will forgive me.
