Was placed upon this earth;
The reflective prism of sight
Disperses scorn or mirth.
It all depends on what people
Allow themselves to see.
How will you bring yourself to judge
Wide range diversity?

Some people become blinded by
Myriad shades of skin
Caring only what shows outside
And not what lies within.
Place society side by side
Perceptions may be vast...
But should we take ethnicity
And hold it in contrast?

In relation to resemblance
Our differences are few.
As a fellow human being
I'm proud to look like you.
To classify by overt tones
Spreads animosity...
How should I bring myself to judge
Wide range diversity?

To arbitrate by someone's heart
Is how I plan to choose--
Spectra of mortal souls exist
In achromatic hues.
The rainbow of humanity
Grows larger every day
From Pure of Heart to Blackened Soul
And all the shades of grey...
