Hope you like it. [bodytext] => They want to try it just once,
Just to see how it goes.
Afterwards they like it,
They want to try it more, I suppose.
So they start blazing occasionally,
Just every now and then.
It turns to every single day,
They forget how long its been.
Now an addiction like none other,
And they just can't stop.
Even after the loss of love,
After frequently being caught.
And worse turns to worse,
Losing respect and losing friends,
Wasting money and turning to violence,
But no, it still doesn't end.
The addiction has taken over,
The do it more as things get bad.
They know they should end it,
Shedding tears on the things they once had.
But it still doesn't stop,
This addiction is just too strong.
Constantly being kicked out of the house,
They don't want to go on.
And ignorance and denial step in,
Only to make it worse the next day.
They want to light up some more,
To make their problems go away.
Now they're in the wrong place,
Falling deeper in the hole.
Doing even worse things,
They're losing all control.
The breaking of hearts,
Emotions tearing them apart.
Wishing they could go back,
And stop it all at the start.
But it's too late,
They fell way too deep.
Now behind the metal bars,
Or living out on the street.
All because of one plant,
How could it do so much?
Innocent by nature,
But poisoned by human touch.
Look at the consquences,
It seems extremely insane.
That they trade a few hours of pleasure,
For a life full of pain.

It isn't as easy as you think to just quit. I've been addicted to my own things here and there and trust me, it's harder then you will ever know. Good write.
