Array ( [sid] => 55570 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Slipping [time] => 2004-07-10 02:10:05 [hometext] => This does sound like it is for an old boyfriend...but really...its for someone that I didn't realize I liked. I had the chance once...but he pushed me away so that I didn't get in trouble for him being older. Mike, baby, this is for you. :-* [bodytext] => I lay awake every night
Wondering where I've gone wrong
How many times did I tell you I loved you?
Didn't that give you a reason to stay?
You say you only want me to be happy
But everytime you push me away, it hurts
Where is the happiness in loosing the one you love?
I just want to hold you once more
Get the feeling I did back then
I just want the rush that I yearned
That made me fall more in love with you
Where did that all go?
Where did I go wrong?
This is something thats coming from my heart
I can't hide what I feel inside for you
No matter who else I am with
I still dream of you
I'll always dream of you
For you are my escape from this hellish world
And if I can't escape in the real world
Maybe my dreams will be enough to keep me above water
Because I am close to drowning without you here
My body slips under the surface
You said you'd always be there for me
Well, I'm drowning
Please save me...
Or are you not there anymore? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 204 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Breezer08 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

So deep and heartfelt. I know of the pain of wanting what's unattainable. Giving of yourself until theres nothing left. Be true to yourself and do for you only what is best.
