I didn't here anything except you were never coming home.
So many times tears had fallen from these eyes.
but now they fall all the long gone tries..

I tried to be perfect.
I tried to be good.
did everything a good woman should.

Made love to you all night long.
Felt our love growing to be so strong.
Felt you behind me,
when i knew it couldn't be.

I feel you hold me when I cry.
I know your still near.
Even though I can't see your body.

I feel you when I try to sleep.
Feel the love we had that was so deep.
I feel you when I am all alone.
How can it be if your dead and gone

I feel you in the sun on my face.
I feel you in the dark of night
Like your still here holding me tight.

I know your soul lives on
I know your heart was just to strong to kill
Because i feel your love... STILL

Oh I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I think the title of this should be"Your breath all around me" That is what I sensed as I read this. It is a beautiful poem and warrants many more reads. People are expecting a ghost story, but this is beauty!!! I loved the essence of these words. May he never leave you!
Angel always...joni
