the robot-girl behind the glass
observing, waits to analyze
tears rain down the human face
and she sees pretty patterns in the light
the robot-girl behind the glass
observe, waiting to analyze
laughter brightens a cloudy day
and it hurts the robot's eyes
the robot-girl behind the glass
observes, to wait and analyze
peers out through her human guise-
these emotions that she hides behind

I felt a machine's pain...how interesting. Well written, especially the difference in "observing, onserve, and observes." |

I enjoyed this poem! It got me thinking along more prozaic lines. For example, when a programmer has to interface with the robot, where would the designers have place the interface? At waist level, or chest level? Or maybe on her butt.
Oh well,...back to the drawing board.

Picked this one out of the topic section, not knowing it was you, HL. Another really good poem. I like the theme.
Good work, again.
Keep writing. |
