I wake up, hoping for a better day
Than yesterday
I try to put my feet on earth
It’s so hard
Not knowing what’s gonna come next

I didn’t know happiness was gonna come to my life
On a Monday, May 17
When you my dear
Finally said what was in your mind
With those words you caught my heart
My soul

I get there
With a smile
Not knowing what was waiting for me
I saw every little thing that reminded me of you
And thought
Maybe it was a good decision
For you to leave
But I couldn’t stop smiling
Remembering all those moments with you

On a Monday, May 17
My boy said what he felt
Ironically,
A date that was already remembered
And I said yes
With a smile

All my dreams were coming true in only one day
I couldn’t believe it
For a moment I thought
I could lose everything in a second
But you didn’t let that happen

And I said yes with a smile
On a Monday, May 17

I talked to you while I was looking at my past
We were smiling
I was smiling at the past
And the past just looked at me
Trying to tell me
That not everything is happiness
And just a week after
I lost everything
I lost you
I lost my dream
And my past came back
With a smile on his face
For victory or for love

On a Monday, May 17
Someone had fun playing with my heart
And that was you
My dear Ben
