creeping through the shadows on the walls
watching my every move
listening to every word i say
when all is done its done

*chorus*
it could be the life of the dead
it could be my need for fear
it could be the demons in my head
it could be from the scary stories that i hear
its all coming from somewhere
somewhere that craves my attention

sitting in the dark
thinking about the past
now walking down the street
in a memory that i have left behind
a memory that huanted my thoughts
and created a whole in my mind
it even terrorized my dreams

*chorus*

its back to the same old tricks
never does it go away
its out to get me its out to get me one way or another
and one day it'll have what it wants
and what it wants is the mind it has created
up there inside my head

*chorus*
all it wants is my attention
all it craves is for soemthing more
all it wants is my attention
and then some
