I know how much you care for your sister, just try to be there for here when she is ready to make the change. that will make a big difference for her. great poem I know what your going through.

Oh, Mel - such terrible news! My heart goes out to you and your family - and mostly, to your sister. I do hope that health and happiness are just around the corner for her.

Your poem is excellent... it reads as if it was written in a state of shock, in the midst of great pain - which, unfortunately, makes sense here. You made my heart sink with this one.
