Out of this life you were torn,
Why did this happen to you,
This is something you can’t undo.

It must have happened for a reason,
That’s what I’ve started believing,
Even so it’s still not fair,
Why were the angels already there?

Waiting to take you far away,
& so you remain to this day,
Up there in heaven on your cloud,
Can you see me when you look down?

It would have been nice to know,
But it wasn’t meant to be, you had to go,
Still my remaining question is why?
Why my brother was chosen to die.

How can something so wrong, be right?
Death held onto you, & held on tight,
Why didn’t he let go of your hand,
Instead of leading you to the unseen land.

As hard as it is for us to accept, there is a reason. Very deeply haunting write, Krissy.
