When did things
Turn for the worst
What did I do
To cause this curse
On myself
And to us

I will cry later
And feel pain tomorrow
I will read your words again
And re-live the sorrow

Your words are like a knife
Slitting my throat
Cutting into my stomach
Bleeding into my hands
Down to the carpet

Do my eyes lie to me
And block reality

Your words
