Before Darkness finds quite places, in the Maria of the Moon,
vermillion lips accompany the lyre, before the darkened glooms,
as Maria sings in waning, empty, tarnished tunes,
Darkness falls-she forgets her flaws as Maria of the Moon.

"Cheap, Beautiful Thrills"

Grey star of mine, my limbs for you will hold-
The deepest reinvention of cheap and beautiful thrills-

Where your ashes paint the boughs of my tree-
From feinted seeds and folds of veronica and oleander debris,
Lashing the greys in platinum's hair, straining my fortunes hold-
On slopping wet girls that your erection holes in ecstasy and blares

Grey star of mine, your light entwines-
The darkness that warms our world-
Most in the sky, reflected in wine-
Poured in addicting doles

Your velvet creed rubs my soul, draining my faith and belief-
In satanic markings or dried up proof for atheistic being

Grey star of mine, do you believe-
In growing in knowing in old?

For just silky beads on linen wings are all I want to grow-
Upon our backs, so we can soar, and forget in a drunken lore,
Glore upon the lack of love that you so willingly full-filled.

"Hues"

The sun’s dead scent rises East to West,
Melting sweet blooms from pale moon’s breath,
Flame and swallow the nighttime’s magnolia-
Igniting the poppy and un-retting colors
It's small flame fretted-
As the waning light’s hues-
Balanced upon lightt,
Upon the orange-red and white-blue

Breeze and ice cool a sea
Of brass-colored dirt below the sun’s beams,
Of dark-blue blood and the moon’s white streaks;
Crevasses form, and all of this bleeds

Sense wanes, so I close my eyes,
Taste the sweet nectar of fiction’s tide-
From the dawn of in-between, or “middle earth”;
It seeps through my skin and creates a lust-
For dogwood silk and colored kisses-
With Eyes wide open, covered in silky off-white blisses

Thoughts of rain create salt pools,
Beneath murky greens and where roses stood
Vexed in rain’s arched bow echoing-
Brightening and killing a mimosa’s ring-
Blurring all vision--cooking all color
In the heat of a light-tendered, tall yellow flower

"We Make Grey"

He removes the flesh from covering his eyes, and nothing is seen, but mere dark gloom’s lies; past-the purpose of this--he kindles a light thats sight over-powers with it’s own reflection-covers over it’s limbs; as a celestial array of winds maneuvering o’er shadows of sky and sun--we mix like the cream of whey; with you being the darkness, and I being the flickering light, the breeze brings us together, and we make grey.

"Bittersweet"

Violet myrtle evergreens,
Marry daytime skies,
As satin moods and siren soothes
Thrive on rum and rye

Laurels grace their presence
With lace upon their reef,
While placed with nowhere of sense;
Marred by other leaves

Despite the feud of jealousy
It’s all a grand of time
With a dancing hand and ditty,
While drinking down a lime

The thistledown of thistles
Make up the gowns of silk;
While Murmuring sweet nothings,
Imbibing honeysuckle’s milk

As night begins to lay;
Only the Laurels noticed,
Daytime start to slip away,
As the Myrtles stayed unnoticed

"Tea Time"

It’s tea time, Honey, on this virginal gauze
Covered in a liquid stick
Bolting down the urn with my mother’s ashes in it
They dye the plate and silverware to stone
While in the process
Of rebirth
From a single spec of whim
And salty sunflower seeds we had
While drinking tea at tea time, Honey

"As Texas Floods"

As Texas floods in the music ofVaughan;
“My fellow brothers, sisters, childrens,”
Prepare yourself for the trickles of our blood
That escape from the cracks in our hard hats
And strained lifelines etched in our calloused hands;

Prepare yourself

As the pale gold leaks and hot poison streaks-
The exquisite face of an Indian
Tainting the art, painting a new legion-
Of a nations army

As Kidney beans pulse gull
Through the red meat in our stomaches
As white rice butters up
And through our limbs and bodies starch

Texas floods

As Texas floods, the sun still soaks
Until all of the bad-
Merely becomes a poster-board moat
