Array ( [sid] => 54599 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Lovely Lisa [time] => 2004-07-03 00:30:22 [hometext] => Another poem for a friend's 18th birthday! [bodytext] => lovely Lisa, such a gorgeous soul
look deep into her
look deep through her eyes
you can see the beauty that lies there
what treasures lie within the depths of the sweetest hearts?
kindness and caring
patience and generosity
she sees the world from her dark mahogany eyes through her sunny blue skies glasses
so thoughtful,
and always with a kind word
and she can always make you laugh
whether it's from a funny story
or the results of a Nutty Bar
she gives her friendship to all
she's with them through the good times
she helps them through the bad times
and that's why everybody loves her

~ * ~

I can see Lisa now
on a bright, enchanted day
a day full of fun, laughter,
and freedom
she's in the greenest, most peaceful pasture
riding on her Overo Paint horse
with butterflies fluttering around her
she rides so freely
as if guided by wings
but definitely guided by angels
a psychedelic aura of peace surrounds her
this is when she is the happiest, the most free
and her heart soars with passion for her loves
I can see sunstars falling from the sun's beams
they land on her ever so gently,
settling in
to show off her radience, her beauty
oh, lovely Lisa,
the stars are falling on you
and you are shining
always remember that you are special
always remember that you are beautiful
and when you think you might forget
remember that there is a star for you
in that deep sapphirre-stranded sky
and take it down into your loving hands
and hold onto it
never let go
and remember
that everyone loves you [comments] => 1 [counter] => 188 [topic] => 55 [informant] => LittleWillow [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
