(I wonder to myself: 10 seconds to hit the ground?)
While eating breakfast I hear it, a surprise phone call
(Teetering on the edge, convincing myself to fall)
The voice on the other end is choked, your friends threatening to jump
(Watching the cop’s call her, my blood begins to pump)
I stood out on the edge and I begged her to come down.
(She stood out on the ledge asked me to stick around)
She told me that she had to go, I deserved a better friend
(She screamed out that it wasn’t true, it didn’t have to end)
She reminded me of when we were kids and we had wanted to fly
(She said she remembered, held back a sob, and then began to cry)
I hoped I hadn’t woken up, that it was all a bad dream
(I said I was gonna fly up to heaven and watch the angels scream)
She said she would watch over me and wash my tears away
(I told her I was sorry but that I couldn’t stay)
One final step was all it took to bring her hurtling to the ground
(I held my breath and waited to land six stories down)
And as I heard that painful scream that ended in a thwack
I knew I couldn’t live without her, there was no turning back
I jumped off the roof; suddenly as light as a feather
As I hit the pavement I knew we would be

very emotional, very dark and very depressing.
i like it though. i agree with spooky, it is hard to commen on it. it's hard find the words.
but the way you've written this helps me to picture it piece for piece.
