Array ( [sid] => 54585 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Redefining [time] => 2004-07-02 22:14:25 [hometext] => im just an emotional wreck right now.. i just found out that my bf sleeped with a girl .. so many words and things i would like to say and do .. please give me some input [bodytext] => At first i see an open wound
Tainted and ruinous
It breathes chaotic catastrophe
It cries to be renewed
So sick of limiting myself to fit your definition
You keep your riches and ill sew my stitches
You cant make me think like you, mundane

Tears are the color of anger
They arid to form a scab
Taut and lax to the touch
Underneath, the new skin breaths
As outwardly cliche' as it may seem
Dead skin will atrophy itself to start again
Look closely at the open wound

No room to fit in your perfect status
I come with the guillotine
Cut throat
From the moment i slid in the door
You know i'm back because you can hear it in the floor
I got to keep on moving
I got to find a honest lover

I'm moving on, moving on
Try to find someone that will be there for me
Take away this tampered soul
Undertake the old stitches
Redefine a meaning for me
Lessen the intense emotions behind these crucial conflictions
I'm ready to take it off now [comments] => 3 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 13 [informant] => neglected1 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

ouch. that must hurt inside something awful. i really like how you wrote this though. the second stanza/paragraph was my favorite. "tears are the color of anger...dead skin will atrophy itself to start again" those are my favorite.

I cant imagine what you are goi9ng through right now, but my advice to you is tell him that you are worth more than to be treated like this, as how can you be with someone if you cant trust them? you have written it from the heart and very well,

pixie xx
